Bucci Park Restoration
The park was built in the early 70s by the Municipality of Faenza with the invaluable help, at least from a wildlife and botanist point of view, of Roberto Bucci, and by the naturalist Cesare Gallegati. Our intervention aims at improving water quality and lakes bottom of the two lakes that make up the wonderful park. The need was born from the fact that the massive presence of birdlife in this oasis town, was compromising the quality of the water in terms of transparency and in terms of odor, noticeable especially in summer when high temperatures promote the thermal stratification . Our intervention consists in trying to create a movement within the lakes, using circulators BR at strategic points and a fairly powerful pump in order to effect a recirculation between the two lakes, with return flow through a channel that simulates a stream … they also installed two aerators fountain, both from 1 HP; a high flow rate, positioned in the deepest point of the large lake, and one high jet for more ornamental purposes, positioned right in front of a bridge that connects a large island in the lake.
